=12ptMy boys are 2 years old now. We were diagnosed with TTTS at 15 wks, I had laser surgery at 18 wks, at CHOP. At 19 weeks a reversal happened & my donor ended up with a heart problem. It was found that CHOP had missed a blood vessel during surgery which caused the further complication. My recipient had no further TTTS complications after surgery. However, while in utero my donor had a pulmonary artesian that became a pulmonary stenosis, that ultimately healed itself before birth. He required no cardiac intervention after birth. Since birth he has a stiff or mis shaped right side (right ventricle) of his heart but good heart function. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this? If so, were there any longer term problems you faced?
