I found this site about a year ago, it was amazing seeing how much parents care and worry about their children. I guess my mother went through the same thing when my sister and I went through this. I was the recipient twin, and my sister was the donor twin. We are now 17 years old, identical twins, except slight differences in the tint of our skin colour. We both survived, and yes it is a miracle. Everyday my mother is thankful that we survived (She tells us this everyday). When I was born there wasn't much knowledge accesible for my mother, and when she found out we had TTTS she looked through every book she could find. She found a bunch of books and photocopied the information (which I currently have now, but it is outdated and old) After that they removed all of those books from the library because they didn't want to scare mothers, they would rather leave them not knowing about this. When I was young I had a few medical issues, and so did my sister (she had seizures, often) and I was wondering, as I grow older should I expect any medical issues? I have a few now, but I am now sure if they are related to this (I get headaches EVERYDAY, sometimes they get so bad I just can't do anything) Is there anything I should be looking for? Worried about? Anything you noticed in your twins?
